a town that hastily sided with magma in order to continue its existence, littleroot has very few people but many unknown resources and very good soil for herbs and growing vegetation. it's cozy and things rarely happen here, especially so for being a territory that has been so heavily influenced.
a bustling city with lots of trade and hunting thanks to its closeness to the petalburg woods, this city is usually happy and thriving and undauntedly loyal to magma and open in its affection.
though a slum of the place it once was, rustboro still manages to be top in markets and sales, while trying desperately to hide the fact that magma is usually the one pulling the strings. it's a merchant's city, and does not disappoint. here you can buy an endless amount of things, and sell seemingly useless finds for a decent price.
heavily magma-influenced due to being a popular route to get to the petalburg woods' resources, fallarbor has become a town of laborers and works. with a steamy, hot feel to it, it's generally a favored hangout for magma members.
completely controlled with a rather iron fist by magma- lavaridge is a town filled entirely with magma members. it's a base and a fort, and its residents either live in fear of magma or in awe. many join for it's protection and potential for power, making it an ideal base.
a town that refuses to give in to either side, instead choosing to profit heavily each time other towns want to trade. it is quite business based and very advanced, somehow keeping its hands clean of magma and aqua despite its popularity and size.
the meteor of 100 years ago struck near the coast of sootopolis city, but when the fact faded to legend, the sailors continued to believe its shores 'cursed by kyogre'-- unfortunately or fortunately, it has remained completely free of aqua influence and is too far away for magma to care. the result is an isolated yet fitting fine city full of life.
a kingdom in the trees, fortree is one city which has never been persuaded to sway to one side or the other. consistently neutral and surprisingly well off while rebuilding, the city is rather fiercely walled off and detached from the rest of hoenn. fortree has become advanced enough for other cities to look towards in it the form of a "guide" and rises as the leader of sorts for neutral areas.
sandy and for the most part, happy, dewford finds itself a center for brawls and fights between gijinkas, though the underground rings are mostly managed by aqua. dewford is mainly independent, but would be positioned to take aqua's side instead of magma's if any conflict arose.
once a city of bustling activity and commerce, slateport finds itself in ruins and constantly looted and pillaged by aqua. it's a bit of a ghetto area where everyone is poor and hungry. as a result, people often have no choice but to work with aqua, and as of now, magma seems to be offering no help so it's clear where slateport's allegiances lie.
rendered a large marsh-city as an after-effect, mossdeep still maintains a stable status. though heavily aqua influenced, it somehow maintains its integrity and independence.through fish farming, business and a dabble in tourism.
with a very small population and full of people that owe a debt of gratitude to aqua, pacifidlog is relatively peaceful. it's full of the smell of sea and dead fish, and lives up to the name of being a fishing city.
lilycove is completely under the control of team aqua- it's a place where all residents wear their aqua uniforms with pride day in and day out and question all those who don't. residents of lilycove practically all join aqua as soon as they can, usually after quickly proving their worth. it's advanced and teeming with aqua members, making it an apt choice for the aqua base.
a small area located up a waterfall. it used to be the small, quaint town for the elite four and champions. however, this area has also seen the brunt of the legends' fight. no building has gone unscathed. this area can only be accessed by boat and something that can get gijinkas up a waterfall. the site at which the legends fought. the aftermath of their conflict is evident among the rubble that dots the landscape. it's a haunting, revered place. fog prevents any travelling by flight. neither aqua nor magma have gone to stake their claim in fear of potential repercussions among the pokemon. it can only be accessed by going through victory road.
