this wave is stringing us along There was no better view than a hilltop at dawn -- at least that's what Lieven thought, and overlooking the Petalburg Woods during this particular sunrise he knew no one could tell him he was wrong. The trees looked beautiful, reflecting the light off dew clinging to their leaves and onto the equally moist glass. Everything took on an orangeish hue that give him shudders he couldn't shake. An urge gripped him to just sit there, binoculars to his eyes, and wait for the sun to reach its peak, but that wasn't the goal today. "Well, I guess we're here," he spoke simply to his partner, more or less a stranger. All he knew was her name -- Juliet -- and that she was every bit the grunt he was. More important however were the medics who accompanied them. Not your everyday grunt and the one in charge of their operation. Aqua needed the plants around the woods for medicine, and so Lieven and Juliet, like many grunts before them, were sent on a little mission to get some. It seemed like an easy enough in and out job. Not only that, but good experience for any covert work he looked for later. "So. . . What's the plan boss?" Exactly who Lieven addressed with that grin of his wasn't the important part, only that someone answer his question with the means of proceeding. Hell, even if Juliet opened her mouth first he'd take the direction. juliet had never been one for early mornings, but for once she didn't regret gambling her sleep on this scene. she might not have the binoculars, but petalburg woods actually had the magic to make trees appealing. coming from someone who hated the peaceful rural life and everything to do with it, that was saying something. her partner, lieven, was a weird one, probably. juliet didn't know, but it was alright, there'd be plenty of chances to get to know people.
she took up the responsibility of answering that. "first priority would be getting off this hill and actually to a place where we can collect whatever it is we're supposed to be collecting-- fruits flowers and magma heads, right?" she smirked up at her two companions, looking up from her rather comfortable position of sitting down on the earth. dirt didn't bother her much- it was blood she didn't like.
but before anyone could over react at her statement of magma heads and overreact and call her out for being evil or bloodlusting for whatever else these two strangers could come up with using both their heads together, juliet put her hands up and slowly stood up.
"relax, it was just a joke. in and out." a pause. "my kind of style." she turned back to the two, mostly to the medic for their actual instructions.

[nospaces] [attr="class","missionbg"] [attr="class","missionbg2"] [attr="class","missiontext"] The medic is only here for business, not pleasure. The grunts next to her are near useless -- only body shields in the event that a wild pokemon attacks. She just needs to gather her herbs and get out. [break][break] The medic only scowls at Juliet's joke, rolling her eyes and walking down the path even further. She doesn't look at them as she speaks. [break][break] "I'm going to need some honey and some pecha berries. Find them."
