screams without a sound
SHADOWS MOCK AND TAUNT HIM, AND THE GHOSTS THAT HAUNT HIM CHAIN HIM TO THE GROUND
[attr="class","castburn"]Normally, fishing wasn't really his kind of thing. Although he understood the peaceful enjoyment of the activity, and it's necessity for food, he'd simply never really been one to just sit down and fish. Since coming to Sootopolis however, that had been changing, slowly. Being a city that was surrounded thoroughly by the ocean, fishing was one of their most important sources of food. He'd eaten enough seafood in these past few months that he'd wondered if he was going to become part-goldeen.
Normally he wouldn't have much of anything to do on an afternoon off from his training. He might have spent it reading or walking around. However, one of his friends had recently asked him to help him out with fishing on his day off. Since he didn't have anything better to really do, he'd agreed. Who knows, it might even turn out to be fun?
Borrowing a fishing pole, Julius headed out towards the docks, enjoying the cooler winter air. Hoenn was a pretty warm region, so even in winter, they did not have much in the way of snow or ice. The water in the area was cold, but no ice had formed yet. It was a good day for fishing.
Sitting by the docks that had been built to the western side of the city, Julius glanced around the area. Looked like his friend hadn't arrived yet. Maybe he should take the time to set up his rod? Settling down cross legged, he began trying to put bait on the hook. Hmm.. This was a bit more complicated than he had first assumed. Wait, was that a tangle in the line?
